This privacy policy provides information about how your data is processed by S.E.R.A.C.. It applies to all services offered by S.E.R.A.C.

1. What data is processed by S.E.R.A.C.?

S.E.R.A.C. provides you with various website services that you can use. When you contact us on line, by phone, or in any other way, different data is provided. Most of the data we process is data that you have provided to us when using our online services. For example, when you register your name and email address when creating a customer account, we receive this data. We also collect technical data about your device. We also receive data from third parties.

When we talk about your data, we are talking about personal data. This is all the information that allows us to identify you. In other words, data that does not allow us to identify you is non-personal, anonymous data.

S.E.R.A.C. processes the following data:

In general, this is your name, email address and password that you have set. Profile data also includes demographic data about you and your personal interests, such as your age, gender, brand preferences or product types.

Depending on how you contact us, we will save your contact information. For example, your postal address, fax number, Facebook ID, username, and so on. 

When you buy from S.E.R.A.C. we will gather your purchasing data. Depending on the type of sale, the following data may be gathered: The order reference number, product designation, the payment method, billing and delivery address, after sales service notification, payment status and order-tracking number. 

On the S.E.R.A.C. website, we offer different methods of payment (bank transfer, credit card, paypal or invoice). When the payment is processed, we save the payment data that you entered such as your IBAN, banking code, method of payment, and credit card data.

We also process other external data from service providers and credit checks. 

We will only use data necessary to carry out a payment.

When you use the services of S.E.R.A.C., data is generated on the type of product, brands or themes that you are interested in. This data makes it possible for us to personalise your browsing experience. For example, once this data is collected, the next time you search, the products that interest you most will be displayed on top.

For specific purposes, we collect geolocation data. When you enable localisation services, S.E.R.A.C. processes geolocation data. We do not create any travel profiles from this data. We use it to provide you with information based on your geographical location or for a delivery address.

2. How is my data used?

S.E.R.A.C. processes your data in accordance with data protection regulations. We process your data only for specific purposes. This is for purchase processing, delivery and after sales services. We process your data to the extent necessary for the execution of the contract and the provision of the service requested.  When your customer account is created, we will gather data on you and your Customer ID. This will be used to create your customer account.  

In order to prevent any risk of data security breaches when you create your customer account, place an order, subscribe to the newsletter or when you fill in data, the data is transmitted encrypted to our services.  We use the SSL encryption system and under these conditions, data is not accessible to third parties.

We also use your data for data analysis, market research, and advertising purposes. To conduct targeted advertising, for example, or when advertising for loyal customers, analysing usage, and obtaining information on demographics or purchasing habits. 

Data usage is subject to your consent. If you have consented to the processing of personal data, your consent is first and foremost, the legal basis for your processing. Your consent has several objectives: Subscription to the newsletter, participation in surveys, processing of your data, registration of email exchanges and carrying out a credit check.

3. What are my data protection rights?

In accordance with the law and under the conditions it defines, you have the following data protection rights: Right of access (Article 15 GDPR), right to erasure (Article 17 GDPR), right to rectification (Article 16 GDPR), right to restriction of processing (Article 18 GDPR), right to data portability (Article 20 GDPR), right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Article 77 GDPR), right to withdraw consent (Article 7, paragraph 3 GDPR), right to object (Article 21 GDPR).

Your personal data will remain stored for as long as necessary for the purposes of this Privacy Policy, including for the fulfilment of our contractual and legal obligations. If necessary, we may also store your personal data for other purposes, if and as long as the law allows us to store it for specific purposes, including to defend a right. 

If you close your customer account, we will delete all stored data about you. If the complete erasure of your data is not possible or not necessary for legal reasons, the data concerned will be blocked for later processing.
